Inigo jones & Co Ltd have committed £80,000 to upgrade and improve their facilities at the Tudor Slate Works near Caernarfon.
The improvements include landscaping, new film, new audio machines and commentary as well as improved exhibitions, which will greatly improve the visitor experience for the more discerning visitor.

The new audio guide commentary will be available in German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese as well as English and Welsh so as to improve the experience for the increasing numbers of foreign visitors.
The Welsh Slate industry has applied for World Heritage status and if successful the company is confident that there will be more overseas visitors visiting the region in the future as a result.

The company’s investment has been made possible with a £25,000 MSBF rural tourism grant from the Welsh Assembly.
Inigo Jones was established in 1861 and still uses Welsh slate to produce architectural, memorial,craft and landscape products and plaques and nameplates can be engraved and printed to order.
