Thinking of calling in on a Saturday, Martin Davis will be here to greet you at our Showroom.  A valued member of the Inigo Jones team since time spent here during his own School holidays! 

“I have been working at the slate works since I was in school and have since continued to work here on the weekends welcoming visitors to the showroom.  I’m a people’s person and enjoy sharing my knowledge with the customers.

I find local history an interesting topic, and you sometimes forget how old the slate is, yet we’re able to use it to make high quality products.

The Sate Works is also quite unique these days, there aren’t many people that do what we do and it’s something special to be a part of.”
