Welsh Slate is well known for ‘Roofing the World’, and renowned as a high quality product.  However, don’t stop looking on roofs alone!

The owners of Chalet Dow, a traditionally built three floored wooden chalet with balconies at Portes du Soleil on the borders of France and Switzerland, recently commissioned Inigo Jones to produce a large sized House Name Plate that would sit proudly on the side of the property overlooking mighty ski slopes.

The Blue Grey Welsh Slate house name, features rounded corners and is engraved using roman font painted white. Made of 500 million year old Welsh Slate the nameplate fits into this epic rocky alpine landscape perfectly, echoing it’s origin in the equally epic landscape of Snowdonia.
