Welsh Slate Nameplate with Roman Lettering
Now you can create your own personalised slate nameplate.

The natural welsh slate nameplate is 100mm/4" high with a 50mm / 2" space at each end with length to suit.( If length is critical please advise when ordering ).

If required it is drilled at each end, ready for screw fixing.

The height of the slate is increased as necessary for nameplates with more than a single line.

Roman letters are engraved into slate and either painted or infilled with gold leaf.

The height of the roman letters are all capitols and either 38mm / 1 ½" or 50mm / 2" .

To work out the approximate length of nameplate, add the height of each letter + 100mm / 4" ( 50mm / 2" gap at each end )

e.g HOLMELY in 38mm / 1 ½" high letters = 266mm / 10 ½" + 100mm / 4" gaps = 366mm / 14 ½"

Gothic letters are engraved into slate and either painted or infilled with gold leaf.

The height of the gothic letters is 50mm / 2" for capitols and 32mm / 1 ¼" for lower case.

To work out the approximate length of nameplate, add the height of each letter + 100mm / 4" ( 50mm / 2" gap at each end )
